We're in NYC enjoying time away together. It's awesome to have this little get away. So far, we've visited the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Ground Zero, the Metropolitan Museum and enjoyed watching the Pen's victory at a Steeler's Bar. What a great time we're having. I love the subway. Our hotel is decent, though we had to try three different rooms to finally get functional air conditioning. I thought Central Park was fabulous. New York has been a fun place to visit.
Tonight, I'm hoping to get out for some live music and dessert for my birthday. I love that I got to spend my birthday here alone with Dave. I always enjoy his company. It's been a great trip for us.
